You may be experiencing a specific problem with a piece of equipment and are curious to know if anyone else is having the same problem and what are the solutions is to your problem.

While it is, in a lot of cases, all that you can do to find reviews and comment on equipment that you have either purchased or are thinking of purchasing - you will find that there is too much information of a general nature and sites trying to sell you something. A search for the exact model number or feature is the best you can do!

However, finding the exact model number of the equipment you are looking for doesn't mean that the model is significantly different from other models (and probably very similar to models) from other retailers.

Manufacturers and retailers issue new numbers on a weekly basis so that the consumer thinks that there are actually seeing something different, whareas the product is pretty much the same!

Even if you find a web page (on anoter website) with the exact model number that you are looking for - on closer inspection you are likley to find out that it is not a review about your actual model but one very similar (maybe) in the same line as the one you are concidering.

In all likelyhood the website is a "shill-type" and only contains reasons why you should but that particular model and the reveiws are only from those that are justifiying their purchase. Ironically the other reviews are from those who have experienced problems with the equipment. This information is sometimes useful but you have to understand how the information gets posted and treat it with a fair modicom of insight on your behalf.
