Digital Rights Management - The Policy of this website
The subject of DRM (the methods employed to make it more difficult for you to copy digital content) is a subject of great interest to Tempusfugit.
The subject of DRM and its evils are a big news and many have made some very vocal protests. This website is too small to champion that cause, however, there are a few opinions to be expressed here.
Since nobody seemed to access my original page, this page is a wider comment and makes observations as they relate to this websites operation. Tempusfugit's main concern is the added complication and subtifuge that DRM adds to the mix. We are often put in a position where we cannot use the media that we own in the way that we intended. We cannot make backup copies of the original source and we cannot transfer the media from one device to another that we also own.
The Tempusfugit website does not allow the download of software that can be used to circumvent DRM - it can be obtained from many other sources on the Internet - some of which may be linked from this website.
