Installing Canon Zoombrowser EX on a Netbook
The Canon updaters do not work when the Netbook resolution is set to the default 1024 by 600 pixels. The update process will fail unless you switch the resolution to 1024 by 768. Once installed Zoombrowser will run under the default resolution.
The easiest way to overcome the resolution issue with a Netbook is to connect an external monitor to it. Most Netbooks, including the ever popular Acer Aspire One, will allow you to select a higher resolution than the display of the Netbook's 1024 by 600.
